It's the holiday season, time for some holiday Chemistree?

Christmas is coming, but aren't we all bored of the usual Christmas tree that we see every year?

How about trying something new this year - a Chemistree - it could be as simple or complex as you like it to be. Tap on your creativity a little and you will be able to discover some opportunity to reinforce/introduce some Chemistree (oops) concepts to your students!

Examples of concepts could include

  • the periodic table

  • acid-base indicators

  • transition metal complexes

  • VSEPR theory

  • redox reactions

  • solubility

  • ....... and so on

Really, it's up to you to be creative here.

Here's some inspiration you could start your very own Chemistree with.

But wait, holidays aren't just about building Chemistrees!

Look here for more ideas - in creating your own ornaments to usher in 2019.

Have a great one everyone, happy holidays!
